What’s up with the Name?
Even before I became a Mom, I’ve always kept my ‘plate full’ literally and metaphorically speaking. Now my life revolves around my little one who is the world to me who I try to feed healthy food so he can grow up healthy and strong… and with some practice in the kitchen, his future wife will thank me LOL.
What Inspired you to do a Food Blog?
I experiment with food so much, I figured I’d keep a log of what I did in case it turns out good.
Anything particular to know about your recipes?
Yes! I use several homemade staples for my recipes because I like how they taste compared to store bought ones like mayo, ghee, and pizza sauce just to name a few. I’ll eventually have them all under my “Staples/Sauces” section when I get to finally writing those entries. If you’d rather buy, you can still follow the recipes. I’ll just try to note any substitutions as best as I can. Also, when I make a recipe I love that’s freezable and reheats well, I tend to make big batches. That way it saves me cooking and cleaning time in the future when we crave the same food.
What’s Live+Love About?
It will be a lifestyle section on life before/after motherhood, the road to getting back into shape, travels, and cool finds along the way that I find functional, helpful, or it just simply makes me happy. I’ll also share some things that has helped me as a Mommy to juggle work and keep the house afloat while reserving quality time for the most important people in my life. Hopefully some of them will be helpful to you? Maybe? Ah, we’ll see.
What’s in your fridge?
On any given day, you’ll find eggs, avocados, steamed veggies, cheese, and milk.
What kind of diet are you on?
I’m on a seafood diet. I 👀 see food and I eat it LOL. Seriously!! I can’t stick to anything restrictive in the long run. Most days I try intermittent fasting because I want to eat whatever I want but learning to eat in moderation. More water, never soda. I will indulge in sweets especially after a pretty rough shift at work or special occasions. I believe that unless you have a medical condition (please consult with your doctor) that necessitates you to follow or avoid certain foods or diets, listen to your body and eat what makes your body feel better.
Who takes pictures of your food?
I do for the most part :)
Who designed your website?
I did! And it’s FINALLY live! Whoop whoop! Do you like it?? I hope so because I’m no web designer and putting this website together was the biggest challenge so far. Phew!
